Uva said we can stay in a cabin east of town. Head towards the entrance of the boat to meet the Mayor! Now, talk to Sam again, who's looking at the boat. Head back to the main path, and work your way to the northwest corner to find another treasure chest containing 50 Salt. Now, we can head down the stairs into the tall grass and work our way back to the Treasure Chest we saw earlier, which contains 3 tokens. Next, you'll pass Miller, who tells you to stop by Blimpig Ranch later, east of the valley. When you're ready to move on, head north and talk to Sam. Now's a great time to stop and try out Earth Born. It took us 8 total tokens to get all six Pixballs, but your mileage may vary. Right outside is a Pixcenter you can spend your Tokens at to get Pixballs for Earth Born. It restores a lot of health and can boost your max health temporarily. Buy the Eggs to create Meat Zongzi, a recipe that requires Dairy and Eggs, Vegetable, and Meat. Lava Candy is a spice that boosts your attack, and can be helpful against bosses, while Steam Peppercorn can increase your defense. He's also selling a handful of cooking ingredients. Buy it to increase your capacity from two to three! You can buy more upgrades costing 50 extra Salt each time. Here, we can finally expand John's backpack with the Backpack Expansion that costs 50 Salt. Now, move east and enter the building that looks like a boat to find K.K. Talk to Sam for a fun moment with the scarecrow. You may also notice a treasure chest in the tall grass directly southwest of the Store and Fridge. You should go with the Upgrade, since bombs are relatively easy to come by in the world. At this point, you should have more than enough Salt to afford the Bomb Upgrade and the Bomb Box Expansion, but only enough Gear Parts for 1. First, you can save at a fridge directly on the left upon entering town, and shop at Johnny's Emporium. The Mayor is waiting for you at the Woodwhale. Now that you've met Uva (and John…), head into town. The woman isn't here, so keep snaking through this area until you head north and trigger the next cutscene. But first! There's a treasure chest hidden in the trees right by the staircase containing 50 Salt.Ĭontinue south to get to the Valley. There's a woman standing down by the river. Continue East until a cutscene stops you. Once at Mountain Pass, you can save your game at a Fridge near the start of the area. Head to town by boarding the lift in the bottom left of the area. Once you exit, you'll find yourself at Whitewhale Bay Station. Once players have these two items, they'll be ready to solve the Water Treatment Plant Puzzle in Rust.On the train, talk to both Jasper and Sam to trigger the next story beat. On the other hand, Electric Fuses randomly spawn within crates and barrels and have a slight chance of being dropped by a Scientist. Blue Keycards can spawn in the Sewer Branch, Satellite Dish, and Harbor, or they can be purchased from the Outpost for Scrap ×100. While most of the goods are accessible in unrestricted areas, those aiming to plunder the puzzle room in this Monument will need to procure a Blue Keycard and Electric Fuse. The Water Treatment Plant can spawn up to 30 crates of loot within its vicinity, including military containers, medical supplies, food boxes, and basic storage bins. However, this also means that the area is a "hotspot" for hostility, as players rush into the Water Treatment Plant in Rust to claim all the best loot for themselves. This Monument has a low radiation hazard and does not spawn any hostile Scientists, making it moderately accessible to any type of survivor. The Water Treatment Plant is a massive Monument in Rust that features a high concentration of loot crates scattered about the zone.
